I just searched on google what Hyrax does and I saw that it does the same thing MSE does but it doesn't widen your maxilla on the level that MSE does no?Hyrax will not split your suture unless you are<13 years old. This is because hyrax is not attached to your maxilla. It is only for your teeth. MSE on the other hand does both essentially- splitting your maxilla and widening your dental palate.
source- i have a mse installed rn

What about RPE then? I can't find an orthodontist in my country that does MSE. The only ones I found do Hyrax and RPE.if you are over the age of 13-14, hyrax will not widen your palate
not sure if RPE is the same as an MSE. For it to separate your maxilla, there needs to be TAD's ie; screws that are drilled into your palate at the middle. These TADs are present in MSE not hyrax, hence the differenceWhat about RPE then? I can't find an orthodontist in my country that does MSE. The only ones I found do Hyrax and RPE.
