I'm interested in knowing the procedure and was not able to find much with the search function. Once I've determined I need bimax ccw and genio what do I do next?
I want information about what kind of doctor I contact for scans maxfac/ortho or other and how I get insurance involved. Could someone give step by step instructions?

Here's my thought
1) contact local max fac and ask for scans of jaw/airway
2) tell local maxfac about functional issues like having to tilt head up to breathe properly, snoring. Get them to contact my insurance
3) Once insurance says they will pay or not find the doctor I want to do the surgery with

Is this the right idea or can someone tell me better steps?

Just call a surgeon he will tell you.
For me i went to an ortho, they made scans etc and sent it to the insurance, they accepted the process, then they sent me to my surgeon, he made a plan etc and discussed whats the best for me

do i already have to pick a surgeon before I go see the ortho and get scans and get insurance involved? Or can I pick the surgeon after all that
