I just go visit Netherlands every 7 weeks and usually go to cities like huzein to visit my mom’s family then go to Utrecht ( which is one of the most ghetto cities ever, my cousins always tell me some crazy shit abt it ) and Rotterdam/Amsterdam. For me, it’s the former. It’s about the artist himself and he’s got this person on his mind. A few years ago, before heading out the door, I listened to that song. Guess who I end up seeing that same day? My oneitis. She was single at the time.

As a result, I avoided listening to the song altogether, or at least I would not listen to it before I were to head outside. Why? Because I believed I saw her due to the song. Normally I never see her.

Half a year ago, I finally decided to listen to it again, told myself I was being weird for no reason, and chalking it up to some really odd coincidence that I saw my oneitis after the song. So to prove myself wrong, I did the same thing, I listened to it right before I left the house.

And what happened that same day? Yep, you guessed it. I saw her again. This time, she was with her husband and their child.

I’m never listening to that damn song again.

for me it’s anything by lana del rey, i used to listen to her as a joke bc my at the time gf always was listening to her and we made a bet that i could get more listening minutes than her in my spotify wrapped.

anyways i’m over her but it just feels weird listening to her without my ex bc my mind 100% associates her with lana del rey

How do you travel, by boat and then car? I would hate having to travel so much. I live in Rotterdam but I’ve been to other cities as well. I was under the impression that Rotterdam had higher crime rates than Utrecht and Amsterdam, but I could be wrong. I’m going to google…. Yeah, I can understand what you mean. I would probably not be listen to her as well if I was in your shoes. She’s one of those artists that a lot of zoomer girls just listen to. On TikTok, when they’re thirsting over a guy they say stuff like “he’s so lana coded” lol.

That makes sense. When I was extremely depressed, there was a tv show and some songs I was listening to, and while I haven’t watched the tv show again, I think, I do listen to the songs sort of frequently but it’s not hard for me to listen to those.
