Is there a valid reason not to identify as a woman legally speaking?

I live in a country where you can literally just change your gender in your drivers license
is there a reason other than pride to not just say you're a woman? I don't mean trannymaxxing and taking HRT I mean just saying you're a woman and reaping the benefits because that's how it is in 2023?
