if you're 16 making 18/hr full time, you're already out earning most people your age, but yeah that burnout hits fast when you realize wage life is just looping the same day forever. if you want out, you need leverage, either build a passive income stream (content, flipping, investing, niche skill freelancing) or set up your life to be extremely low cost so you can coast on savings or side cash. unemployment checks won't carry you unless you're gaming the system hard, and even then it's limited and unreliable. best play is stack as much cash as possible now, live like a ghost, and funnel that energy into something scalable that doesn't require clocking in. nobody escapes by rotting, you escape by scheming. You can collect disability cheacks from the gov (if u live in US)

first calculate ur yearly cost of expenses

then determine how much you would need in an investment portfolio earning 10% on avg such that if you withdraw 3% you cover said cost of expenses

save up said amount of money (hard part)

retire, withdrawing 3% from your investment portfolio every year to cover living expenses while the remaining 7% offsets inflation and market fluctuations
