At 18 insurance gets stricter or gone, so i want to get a bimax this year (im 17). I went to an orthodontist for MARPE but they said that I dont need MARPE and that all they would do is give me some braces that move my low jaw forward and all that for 5k. My parents were against that and it wasnt even a discussion. So I suppose that if I want to get a bimax for 5k and insurance covers the rest, then I still wont be able too i suppose????

Is there any way????

yo i didnt post for a while im studying these days, I dont know where u from bro but I would suggest that u first consult a maxilofiacial surgeon with experience so u see what u exactly need and get many opinions, then if u can afford the insurance bimax try to guide them into the movement the surgeon wanted to offer u personally I only did high cut lefort 1 , im still swollen and recovering but the movement done pushed also my mandible and chin, I think they are still behind ideal but its okay and I wouldn't think more movement would ascend this much so consult someone with ur exact case get ceph scans first see an experienced surgeon that is good not a liar he will tell u exactly what u need.

Okay but blah blah, there is no point in doing all that for my parents just to say no
its about my parents what do i do about them
Do you get less movement with an insurance surgery than with a non insurance one?

idk it all depends on the surgeon that will perform this on u , ur parents u can convince them by telling them how much u think looks are important and that u need it for ur health/sleep apnea, on the other hand I told u to consult so u get an idea of what movement a doctor would give u purely for aesthetics and then u can try to convince the insurance doctor to do it for u similar movements in a smart way/ so u let him do his thing for sleep apnea but u ask him to also be consider aesthetics if possible then he will probably do some similar to the aesthetic focused surgeon thats why u need to consult so u have an idea beforehand if u end up getting insurance bimax wheter they gon fuck u over or not

Ohhh so a insurance covered bimax will never be done by an aesthetic surgeon? Only by insurance surgeons?

no idea I don't live where u do, but once u consult this surgeon which u will for sure be super humble let him know u trust him so he likes u and then explain to him u also care about aesthetics so if it possible for him to keep this in mind if he is not a complete ashole I doubt he will screw u over, but dont be the psl autist that tries to teach him his job or he will screw u over for sure.

I went to an orthodontist for marpe. They immediately told me that i dont have the criteria for marpe. Then I told them that I want to get a wider face and for that I wanted to get marpe. I asked them about a bimax but they said that it costs to much and indirectly said no. They only proposed me those shitty braces that cost 5k and are supposed to move your lower jaw forward.

they wont give me a bimax

cuz u are here for insurance which means health, so if u completely act like u dont care of his judgement he won't like u at the end of the day he is human just like u and me and he has emotion, thats why u need to know at first what exact movement u need, then see if this surgeon is offering something similar, bigger movement doesn't mean better he could do a huge movement just for sleep apnea but wouldn't;t make u look much better because thats not what ur face needs if u understand what I mean so first convince ur parents and then consult a plastic surgeon where u can larp u actually want to pay all of it so u get a real idea of what u need then try nicely to ease ur insurance surgeon into a similar movement.

I dont get it
1. Get aesthetic opinion to see what i need
2. Go to an insurance surgeon and see if he conforms with the aeshetic stuff?
3. Tell it my parents??

As far as I know any surgeon can perform the bimax under insurances.
Bro I dont get it. I already went to a orthodontist where you can get a bimax and they told me no. So I suppose insurance wont pay it for me?

Get a job or some sort of safe income, borrow the money and argue that you will repay them and its just financially smarter to do it now while insurance covers a big part compared to 18+ when you would have to carry all the costs

orthodontist cannot give u a bimax bro, these niggas can give u braces, u need braces so u can get a. bimax anyways , cuz they need a certain form of anchorage to keep ur teeth straight during the surgery, second u need to find a surgeon thats is willing to perform surgery first and I doubt a insurance doctor will do this he will ask u to wear braces for prolly at least a year first then do the surgery then u will have to wear them for 3 months, finally yes exactly the same order I asked u to get an opinion if u think ur parents will accept and u can get the surgery so u have an actual idea of what movement will result in aesthetic pleasing results, if ur insurance surgeon moves ur shit millions of mm but does not care of balance or proportion u won't ascend at all, thats why get an opinion of what u need and u might not even need bimax for asesthethics so consult a maxillofacial surgeon that is focused on aesthetics and not a thief.

If you dont fall into certain eligibility criteria you wont get it from normal surgeons/orthos thats why you need one that has a bit more bureaucratic influence

Retard
There are after school jobs, even if its just a minijob (~500 a month) its safe income.

Not in the amount of time, thats why youre borrowinh the money
The point is that you already have a safe income and can thus argue you will sooner or later be able to pay them back

No its just that overbite can also be fixed with braces
In 99% of cases its still caused by jaw misalignment though
How much of an overbite do you have?
