This is what I'm talking about. The excess fat that creates my nasolabial folds. I'm fit and exercise regularly so it's not because I'm overweight in case anyone want to suggest to slim down.

When I push against that area the folds dissapear and I look much youthful and less unattractive. I want to know if there's a way to eliminate that fat.

Thank you in advice.

If it's lines then it could be just from smiling a lot or fat, if it's folds, well. . . . . :f:

Yeah both my maxilla and jaw are recessed but there's no way in hell I'll ever save enough money to get surgery to fix it, and also I'm very scared of getting it because it's a complex procedure and I could end up looking even worse. So I want something less invasive and cheaper to at least don't have nasolabial folds so pronounced and appear younger.

Are you serious with this? I have no idea what it was like. When I was a kid I only cared about playing all the time. The last thing I thought of was how my tongue rested on my mouth lol.

Yes. How does it rest now? Or how did it rest before you learned about mewing?

To be honest the only thing I know about mewing is that it was created by some surgeon guy with a strong jaw that advocates to do excercises to get a bigger jaw. That's all.

Right now I think my normal tongue posture is floating between the roof and the bottom of my mouth, and touching the upper teeth with the tip at times.

Is this really a common procedure? I tried to find info on this and there's very few and not before after pictures. On the other hand fat removal or bichectomy is a pretty standard surgery I see but useless for me.

nah it's not really about exercises, mewing is just proper oral posture. That's why the guy asked you about your tongue position. Your tongue should be resting at the roof of your mouth, lightly pushing against the palate. Lots of intricacies to this but in a nutshell your tongue is a very strong muscle, so simply resting it their counteracts the gravity that's pulling your maxilla downwards. Also when you mew this ensures that you breathe w/ your nose instead of your mouth. Recessed maxilla and mandible are signs of mouth breathing, tho it can be genetic as well. Idk if mewing will help you lose the fat in your cheeks, but there are reports of people achieving hollow cheeks through mewing and other things, like proper diet, exercise, and chewing hard gum, so it may be worth incorporating.

Since reading his question I started to wonder about what my tongue position was, and now I came to realize that my tongue rests at the roof of my mouth most of the times, and just a few times is at the middle, that is when my mouth is open for some reason. But when closes it's always at the top. Yet I have a recessed maxilla and mandible.

Don’t worry bro I have a weird rare case of maxilla recession myself, even tho my mandible is forward grown.
