So I’ve had really bad acne when I was 16-17, now I’ve cleared up all my acne by using benzolperoxid and my skin is pretty clear I would say. But I still do got some acne scars on my cheeks, they got better over time and now they are less visible then they were half a year ago but is there any way I can make them nearly invisible?

  • Gentle Cleanser (CeraVe Foaming / Vanicream / any non-stripping)
  • Vitamin C serum (helps even tone + brighten scars)
    • Example: The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%
  • Moisturizer (non-comedogenic)
  • Sunscreen (CRUCIAL) – every single day
    • La Roche-Posay Anthelios, Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, or Biore UV Aqua Rich

Night

  1. Cleanser
  2. Exfoliant (2–3x/week only)
    • The Ordinary Glycolic Acid or Paula’s Choice BHA (use at night, not on same day as retinoid)
  3. Retinoid (start 2–3x/week, increase slowly)
    • Adapalene (Differin) – best OTC retinoid for scars
  4. Moisturizer
    • Optional: add niacinamide serum before moisturizer to help calm and brighten

Full fading might take 6–12 months depending on scar depth

you can just use chat gpt for small things like this man, it saves a lot of time

But when I would take it, where should I get it? cause in Germany you need to really have severe acne to get accutane from a doctor and now that my acne is all gone I think my dermatologist wont give accutane to me

Exfoliation, microneedling and retinoids may help fade them. But completely removing them is much harder, and takes a long time or may never resolve at all, but at least with those 3 things they will become less noticeable or even almost completely disappear.

You could also look into laser treatment, which allegedly can fully remove the scars after a few treatments.

literal scam + isn't worth the risk reward

Yeah, that's why I said allegedly. I don't have as harsh of an opinion on it as you do, I do think it is useful for certain conditions (hyperpigmentation) and skin aging, but when it comes to acne scars I'm working off what I've been told.

yup, lasers does wonders for hyperpigmentation/skin tone/texture/wrinkles, whatever. anything other than atrophic scarring it does its job well basically, u need surgeries/dermal fillers/fat graft to actually fix deep indentations
