Is there a way to lose weight quickly without exercise?

I can not exercise for more than 20 minutes of light walking: I am too mentally ill right now and live on less than an hour of sleep on most days from stress and inherited schizo genes.

Is there a way to lose weight through only diet and possibly medication?
 
Reducing calories will always result in weight loss assuming activity level remains the same.

u have depression. you should read some self-help book unironically, they can mentally talk you out of it
 
make your meals smaller. drink alot of water. caffeine will help so coffee without sugar or milk would be good. also try to have it so that most of the calories you eat is from protein since it makes you feel less hungry. chewing gum works for some people into tricking the brain to reduce the feel of hunger. also count ur calories
