Is There A Way To Reduce Purging Effect on Isotretinoin (Accutane)?

I just recently got prescribed isotret and saw many people talking about the purging phase. I was wondering if anyone knows of any methods to reduce or even prevent this from occurring. I’m currently starting on 40mg.

(any other tips would be appreciated too)

you can take an antihistamine for the first month, its not needed but i personally did so and experienced no purge
