Is there any downside to taking saw palmetto?

I think I may have a enlarged prostate I have to get up to piss like 5-6 times every night I read saw palmetto can help with that. I’m pretty sure I remember someone on here saying never to take saw palmetto for some reason but I don’t remember why is it good or bad?

Please get a proper diagnosis, check your PSA and do an ultrasound of your prostate. If it is enlarged you will want to check for tumors and if you don't have any 5mg finasteride. Saw Palmetto isn't going to do shit.
