I generally prefer genioplasty, in fact it's what I'm having done, but for your case I believe an implant is a much more suitable option because it can fill more of the chin area.

Chin is recessed because the mandible is recessed. If you just move the mandible the chin will no longer be recessed and he will look much better

Just read a guide from best of the best. Start working on your hairline though, Norwood is already showing
