I’m almost 16 now the pics were taken 6 months apart I was hoping it could still be developing
Yeah at 15 it would most likely still be developing if you were "normal", but you're recessed so obviously you don't have any predisposition to forward growth. My orthodontist has shown me pictures of some of his younger patients and quite a few have managed to fix their recession without surgery but even if you would start right now it's already too late for you. Imo you're a surgery case

Btw it looks like there is progress in the 2nd picture but (and tell me if I'm wrong) you look like you just woke up and it's actually the puffiness that's slightly hiding your midface hollowness

I don’t beleive the second was taken at night as i dont think ive ever taken my pictures in the morning but I could have just been bloated in the second picture. As for the surgery/fixing what surgery do you think would fix the maxila placement the most as for the chin I think I could hopefully just get an implant

Bimax surgery. You could get an implant and/or a sliding genioplasty but I have no clue which one would be better in your case. Just book a consult with an ortho that's open to working with an omfs as soon as possible

Would right when I turn 18 be the best time in your opinion, I’ve been saving a lot of money as a kid and investing it and should have most of the money needed.

Get trimax not just bimax
It's bimax + genioplasty

Where do you live ? You could probably get it for free if you have fucked up teeth / can prove that it causes you functional issues like sleep apnea

l live in Florida but my teeth are straight because I had braces, teeth were obviously very messed up due to narrow palate and recession

Well your ortho is a retard, most of them don't care and just go the camouflage route. If you're in the US you can get it for free if your parents have insurance and you can prove that your recession causes functional issues. Get a consult with an ortho that's open to prep you for surgery with an omfs

What’s an omfs
