Is there any legitimate upside to injecting test IM as opposed to sub-q?

Many sources im seeing says it's equally as effective subq. I would obviously rather do subq injections as theyre easier. If anyone has any legitimate, research backed evidence that supports IM usage only please link it and educate me.

look brotha. take it from somsones whose been injecting for years.

we all start out doing subq because we are pussies, but trust me injection IM is literally no different than subq. Also if u inject subq ur gonna get hella swelling and irritation in that fat area, its bad.

just inject IM

How bad is "bad"? Like is it a little bump that kinda itches or an unhideable mass on my stomach thats so painful it prevents me from daily activity?

Im very worried about the possibility of hitting nerves/veins, is that an overexaggerated risk? In my mind it's a very small space you have to pin in, and you have to get it almost perfect everytime to not damage something. What would you say to that? Thank you

i used to ask the same questions as you, but many years later ive now injected thousands of times. yes injecting subq will cause inflammation in the fatty upper layer of the skin and you will get a bump, you dont want that

Trust me dawg theres literally nothing scary or bad about injecting IM. just get insulin syringes the needle spear on those are super short and super thin so you wont feel a thing when you use them. I guaranfuckingtee it wont hurt when you inject with an insulin syringe

In regards to knicking a vein or nerves, also harmless. Ive injected thousand of times and ive probably brushed a nerve like 25 times in a total, its rare. And when it does happen it doesnt hurt it just gives a little jolt in that area that lasts less than a microsecond, because the nerve was touched. No big deal whatsoever. As far as veins go never had anything happen there either, people say to aspirate where you draw the needle back before injecting to see if you are in a vein, ive never done that ever. Ive had bleeding after injecting but just a few drops and that stops after a minute, no big deal

I also never used alcohol swabs before injecting and never had an infection. But everytime i had something close to big swelling or pain it was always when i used to inject subq

furthest from the truth. Ive injected every place possible on my arms, legs and shoulders. Even a so called "bad injection" is still harmless
