Is there any point to lift weights while cutting

need to lose 40-45lbs more and then I will finally be 210lbs

have not lifted weights for months now just doing harder variations of push ups pull ups, squats, etc weekly

should I lift weights? its not like I am going to gain
muscle or strength on deficit don't see the point
