Risk to reward of how empty your words feel, how long it’s been since you said anything. If anything it’s more important for your comfort, which will make it easier for you to steer the conversation. Keep in mind you don’t have to be at 100% the entire time, you can fuck up or say lame shit or stutter, if the girls not a bitch she won’t be judgemental and still interested in getting to know you.

I feel you, I go up and down in my confidence and drink a lot of the time for nerves, but my advice is that it’s a lot easier to have a good conversation when you actually pay real attention to the person in front of you instead of just using them as a mirror to hyper-analyze every miniature flaw you think you have. When you think about it it’s kinda selfish to do that, even if unintentionally. I remind myself that whenever I get too in my head.
