Is there any study on correct tongue posture (mewing) and hyoid position ?

Mewing might not be cope if the hyoid position is dependent on the muscles. The hyoid is the most important factor for a good looking jawline and side profile. Question is tho if mewing can effect the muscles there permanently. Is there a study to that ?
