Being intelligent used to be positively selected for particularly in Asia or Europe. A few hypothesizes are that Europe and Asia are further North and that Winter made for a much more difficult harvest and long term planning was required to survive. Another one is that warfare among complex societies (Rome Chinese empire Japanese kingdoms European Barbarians Vikings etc) forced these societies to have smarter people.

Nowadays the opposite is true being smart is neutral at best and negative usually since there is no real threat of starvation in the 1st world that mean an idiot who doesn't think and fucks procreates meanwhile a nerd studying for 10 years does not. There is no brutal winter or complex issue that you need to solve even the homeless drug addicts in America are more well fed then middle class workers 200 years ago.

The selection isn't as zero sum, but isn't it still kinda there? The modern world is complex, just try going through all the steps of buying a car or a house for example (and actually do it in an efficient manner).
This stereotype of a snivelling nerd may be comforting, but to me it seems like people with good genes usually excel at everything (I don't have clear data obviously).
I just want to know for sure if the modern liberated heterosexual female desire for Chad is actually dysgenic like incels say, or not.
If women do ignore intelligence and if intelligence does have little correlation with looks/height then it's definitely bad news, but I don't know if it's actually true.
