i keep seeing people cry and whine about trailgaters and i don't get it. they're behind you, so all you have to do is ignore them and the problem goes away.
tailgating seems to be another groupthink manufactured 1st world problem everyone accepts without thinking. either that or a byproduct of the fact that a lot of drivers are really stupid with slow reaction times and they don't like it when people imply that they need to go faster. therefore the issue becomes "people driving too close to me" rather than acknowledging that they're just too slow and stupid to be on the road.
every time i see someone complain about tailgaters, it's always some daft sounding boomer type so i think my above analysis is correct.
