Is there any way to reverse downward midfacial growth?

Important to note that my maxilla wasn’t downward grown until braces and headgear I am still 16 and upward thumb pressure is is not really doing anything much (I also had to fix my skeletal issue with my palate because my ortho only did tooth expansion instead of marpe/sarpe (aka breathing issues)

If ur midface closer to 1.1 it means u have very compact midface
U probably meant closer to 0.9 or nah

your maxilla is in correct angle already. you wanna tilt it upwards? ur nose gonna get buried and ethnicmaxx

Doesn’t look like a 0.9 mf, you’re probably measuring a lens distorted photo
Anyways you can’t change the midface ratio since it comes from the nose length
Just increase lower third height and you’ll be fine

right. you can't really change midface absolute lenght with just bimax. maybe lenghten the philtrum by hooding the upper lip if you tilt your maxilla in certain angle. you can lenghten mandibular body for height tho and in turn make the midface look shorter by proportion which is fine

No he means height is 1.1, width is 1
So mfr is 0.9
You would want to shorten the philtrum, not lengthen
Lip lift or filler would help a bit, but really it’s not that big a deal anyways

why not lenghten? obv doesn't apply to his case, just pointing it out since were talking about not being able to lenghten certain aspects of midface, but philtrum lenght can def change with maxilla angle, or more like alveolar ridge/ans to incissor angle. good for compressed ethniccels
