There was a guy on r/plasticsurgery who did that, and got a pretty fantastic result. I mean, before he was one of the most recessed people I've ever seen.

If you are very recessed and have the money, it's definitely legit. Just make sure to do it in this correct order.

I think one of these would definitely be enough if you're not severely recessed.
Bimax just has its limits and even 20 something millimeters of advancement wasn't enough for that guy.
