Not from maternal side, but my paternal side my grandfather and great grandfather were around 5'9. So was my father (5'9½). I'm 5'10.

My maternal great great grandfather was 6'7 and huge framed.

not related but the european generation of our grandparents and great grandparents who were not fed a slave diet were on average 6'2/6'3
