most large companies do not have very high profit margins. in fact many struggle to make profit at all. do you want bankruptcy and thousands losing their jobs?
these people also have no idea how interconnected the economy really is. ~77% of the market cap of us equities is owned by retail investors (general public) either directly or through mutual and pension funds. these companies aren't just making profit for themselves - the public actually benefit the most
but you know stupid people will always blame their problems on black boxes they don't understand while claiming the moral high ground
