Is there going to be another market crash soon? Thinking about long-term investing into index fund.

I'm kinda scared as this year has has been so volatile, and the stock market recovered so fast. Is another crash to be expected? Don't want to lose 5k or something. Also I primarily thought to invest 25% in to Europe, 25% to developing markets like China, and 50% to USA. Sounds good?
