But it's kinda making me sad.

I fucking went to a poker game a week ago just for social connection with 8 other truecels I don't even know. At least they took my money after I donked off all my chips.

Felt kinda gay and stupid for doing that.

I used to think this was real until I started knowing more of these "lonely" people. They're almost all people with opportunities for socialization/dating. They just don't like their options. Or they want things on their terms.

Gerbert is a perfect example of this. His whole channel is about how tough it is to get a gf in current year, but then he mentions that he does get laid and he does have options. He just doesn't like them. He bashes girls for being "mid" when he's the most mid-looking motherfucker I've ever seen. He demands a low body count. The girl also needs to make it clear that she's interested before he makes a move. She also needs to be in the most desirable age demographic. You start adding up his requirements and it's no shit that he's lonely. He wants to pick off the top shelf as a mtn and thinks society should make this easy for him. People aren't "atomized" or "lonely." They just refuse to engage if it isn't easy and with people above their status.
