Is there really a point of anti-age maxxing?

So many people here are scared of the sun and stay inside, eat supplements that don't even make a big difference in the long run... Is it really worth spending all that money on cope products? Skincare isn't cope but even that... so many cope products on the internet and things like Tret don't work for everyone (also might cause skin thinning but I'm not sure). Like most people who age good are people who don't really care about that stuff and just exercise in moderation, are happy and get enough sleep. I think everything else is cope and even more cortisol inducing since you spend so much time on shit that don't provide a substantial difference (jfl at Bryan Johnson)

i feel somewhat the same about bryan johnson putting so much effort into anti-aging
the stress that shit causes probably diminishes the potential of his methods quite a bit

Bryan Johnson makes use of testible metrics and has successfully slowed his aging to a rate of like 0.6 or 0.8 years, per year

Well, there's no real point in trying to reverse aging, for example, if you haven't even aged at all yet, i.e., aren't even 25+ or so.

What makes sense actually is PREVENTING the damage of aging accumulation before it starts, but that's not "anti-aging" in the same sense.

Yes it is worth it.

However the best antiaging thing you should be doing is good sleep, diet and reduce stress.

Yeah but that's literaly 95%. The other stuff is just bonus and won't really have a significant impact on your looks (maybe I'm coping since I'm broke rn idk)

Also I'm mirin hard your dedication for looksmaxxing. Unfortunately I have no time for a side job because of heavy workload... brutal

Try having that same opinion when your 40 and your full of wrinkles and saggy skin

the world doesn't care about old people. Just maximize your youth as much as possible. Agepill is real

Yeah I made this thread as a cope because I don't have enough money to buy all the supplements I need. I still think that sunlight is beneficial in the morning and evening

If it wasn’t for capitalism the old would be euthanised in most cases. They only have power because it’s almost impossible to not be wealthy with 50 years of compounding.

Putting on suscreen and avoiding sunbathing doesn't mean you're refusing to leave the house.

eat supplements that don't even make a big difference in the long run...
That depends. I take vitamin D because most people are deficient in the winter. NAD+ supplements are promising but far too expensive right now. I also take biotin due to my seborrheic dermatitis. Everything else you can get from a good diet.

Tret don't work for everyone (also might cause skin thinning but I'm not sure).
Tretinoin is the only product proven to actually significantly boost collagen production in the skin, something collagen supplements cannot do.

You are right when you say that good sleep habits and a low stress lifestyle are extremely important, though.

Yeah I'm gonna try to implement everything. Also thank you for your hair guide I'll try to apply it. Do you think hairmasks are necessary? Seems like a hastle and time consuming idk

If done right, yes, there’s absolutely a point. You can stretch out your prime and prime-adjacent looks well into your 30s, like Amnesia or many Hollywood celebs (which is mission critical if you’re trying to ascend late in life and need to make up for lost time). From there, you can then enter into a slow-yet-controlled decline wherein you “look good for your age” for decades to come

As to developing orthorexia over living a healthy lifestyle and endlessly min-maxxing routines, yeah that’s a big waste of time and money, and often counter-productive due to the stress of adherence. As you mentioned, diminishing returns kick in hard past a certain point. Ultimately, like looksmaxxing proper, anti-aging mostly comes down to wageslaving till you have the money to afford the various medications, prescriptions, treatments, and surgeries you need that basically fraud better / younger genetics.

Think tret, finasteride, skin laser resurfacing, face lifts, fat transfer, etc

I feel like insane bone mass just mogs all of this for anti ageing

Someone like drago aged extremely well despite having paler skin because of his insane bone mass

I wasn’t making an exhaustive list of procedures, but yes jaw surgery + implants to fix recession is very important too. It’s all complementary/synergistic and just goes to show yet again how frauding better genetics is what this all comes down to, not some crazy restrictive lifestyle coping

Agree to some extent

Although you probably wouldn’t need it to begin with if you had good genetics for that purpose, hence my point

Some of us do. Also you don’t need to have it you can work for it. Large bone mass is achievable to some extent without genetics

U just lazy ass, look at my results JFL.
diminushing returns tbh. It's not cope but no neeed for your whole routine. Also don't microwave shit it causes accumulation of"AGEs" which, well Age you(research)

You're welcome
