excuse me for my disgusting red skin right now, but what is this fat pad connecting to my neck? it absolutely fucks my side profile, is it a swollen thyroid or sum shit? and are there any surgeries for this?

You need to go to a doctor to check this out: might be anything from a lymph node swollen to cancer. The latter is very rare, but better be safe than sorry.

Most probably it is your parotid gland swelling. Did you have mumps vaccine?

WIth this condition, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GO TO DOC RIGHT AWAY.

i’ve had this for quite some time now so not sure if it’s cancer or it probably would’ve spread to my brain and killed me, anyways thanks for the info, i’ll get it checked out, hopefully the swelling goes down.

Parotid gland swelling can last very long. It depends on the cause.

You are right that if you had something serious like mumps, you would have felt way worse than you do now.
However, since it has not gone away on its own, you better figure out what is wrong with it.
