is this a good idea to tan?

i put sunscreen on and go out for increasing amounts of time during peak uv hours. at first i will go out for 15 minutes, then 30 minutes, then 45 minutes, then 1 hour. I will move onto to the next interval after a few days so my skin doesnt get too damaged immediately which can cause skin cancer, aging, etc. My skin is very pasty atm due to permarotting so i dont want to damage my skin

Been doing the same laat few weeks its developed sn ok tan so i didn't look like a permarotting dc mod infront of my friends

i can develop an ok tan but it takes effort. i looked at old pics of me and i was only slightly tanned during summer lmao. during winter, autumn and even spring, i was pasty. fucking over for my genetics tbh
