1) Again, it's a different test, they evaluate different things. The chimp test features only 9 items, which means that your working memory doesn't need to be very large. The difficulty here is that the numbers only flash for a fraction of a second.
2) I could probably outperform any chimp after a few days of practice.
3) Sequence memory (Where you memorize more than just 9 positions) is strongly correlated with IQ. The larger the sequence that you can fit into your brain, the higher your IQ.

I could have scored way higher than that even. Once I got past 20 or so, my brain automatically stores the beginning of the pattern in a more long-term memory (where I have more space than in the ultra short-term memory).

I know that because an hour later I could still recall the pattern.
