I don’t believe that happiness is something directly attainable, like you legit can’t follow some set steps and expect long-lasting happiness.

And even if you think you’ve achieved “happiness”, it’s really just a temporary superficial feeling that will soon pass (whether that be pleasure, feelings of validation, etc…).
