It's a very weird pattern.
1. Hair all around shows perfect density and quality.
2. The missing part of hair is very defined, almost like it was deliberately shaved.

I would need to have a look at his hairline to say it, but from the look of it it doesn't look like MPB, more like some type of seasonal alopecia or maybe triggered by traction?

easily. all hair loss can be reversed 100%. provn in studies hair follicles dont truly die out.

Does fit the typical MPB pattern. Probably vitamin D deficiency or Telfogen effluvium, but it could just be MPB
