I’m 16. First pic is me, second pic is an AI edit showing a more ideal outcome. I’m not asking if I can look exactly like the AI, but whether moving significantly in that direction is realistic without surgery.
I have an overbite + recessed chin, so I’m considering a Herbst (or similar mandibular advancement appliance) to improve jaw position and chin projection while I’m still growing. I’m also looking into upper palate expansion if needed (not expecting lower skeletal expansion, just arch coordination), and I’m actively losing body fat.
From what I understand:
Question:
Is ~60–70% of this AI difference realistically achievable naturally with good orthodontic planning + growth, or is this still mostly cope?

From what I understand:
- Jaw advancement at my age can improve facial balance and chin projection
- Upper expansion can help smile width / proportions
- Fat loss + growth can sharpen the jawline and midface
- Nose wouldn’t shrink, but balance could make it look better
