Is this level of change realistic naturally at 16 with orthodontics + fat loss?

I’m 16. First pic is me, second pic is an AI edit showing a more ideal outcome. I’m not asking if I can look exactly like the AI, but whether moving significantly in that direction is realistic without surgery.

I have an overbite + recessed chin, so I’m considering a Herbst (or similar mandibular advancement appliance) to improve jaw position and chin projection while I’m still growing. I’m also looking into upper palate expansion if needed (not expecting lower skeletal expansion, just arch coordination), and I’m actively losing body fat.

From what I understand:

  • Jaw advancement at my age can improve facial balance and chin projection
  • Upper expansion can help smile width / proportions
  • Fat loss + growth can sharpen the jawline and midface
  • Nose wouldn’t shrink, but balance could make it look better

Question:
Is ~60–70% of this AI difference realistically achievable naturally with good orthodontic planning + growth, or is this still mostly cope?

If you really have an overjet, then you better start using a herbst asap. There’s an incredibly low chance of your lower third just spawning in if you’re at this stage in puberty.

Most of the changes I see between these pictures would require the following:
> Herbst appliance now or surgery later on
> Thicker eyebrows from a topical like minoxidil
> Squinting lol
> Getting taller, no clue how tall you are but you look a lil short
> Working out and putting on muscle because the AI-generated version looks larger in general
> Possibly hopping on testosterone if you want to maximize the masculinization that puberty itself already does, or just maximize your natural testosterone and hope its enough.

You can get herbst appliance but it'll be for bite issues and not much mandibular growth
it's generally used for ages 10-13 when the mandible is still growing and you can still make skeletal changes through guiding it in the right direction
you're 16 so there isn't much room left for growth but if you care specifically about herbst then you can go for it

what that guy said + nose slims down + one of the biggest differences in the photos is the neck width too
