Monoxodil is the active ingredient in rogaine, rogaine is a brand name.

If you are balding, you will also need something to prevent further hair loss rather than just promoting new growth. Such as a DHT inhibitor like finesteride and / or an anti-androgen like RU-58841.

but this brand of minox is as good as regaine right? also im taking finasteride im at norwood 1 but there is baby hairs im trying to get back

good. add this and microneedling every 1-2 weeks around the hairline (dont use the minoxidil for 24h after microneedling.
