I got them them too when I started tret the first time, but for me it was irritation and they stung when I applied moisturizer, they only went away after I stopped and then I took things slower

I stopped for about a week because my skin would just get worse, it happened to me for 2 times and I changed my gel to a cream, since then I had no problems, but don't rush it, start with once a week when you are healed
