Ik people on this site usually think it’s either because they see it as gay and feminine since obsessing over your beauty is usually done by women or because they see it as a sign of poor genes but I think the real reason why women hate looksmaxxing so much is this: If men keep looking better and better then women will no longer hold the advantage in the dating market, currently women hold the advantage due to makeup boosting their looks but if a significant number of men ascend then women will no longer have this advantage so they’ll no longer have a reserve of simps and oofy doofies willing to put up with the bs they usually put their partners and orbiters through. They also know that if their partner keeps getting better and better looking then he’ll be less likely to settle for them since they themselves subconsciously know they’re makeupcel frauds so they fear if their man gets better looking he’ll move on to a better looking girl, hence why they say they hate when attractive guys know they’re attractive and some even say bs about wanting a guy that’s “medium ugly” “ugly hot” or “attractive but not too attractive”
