I got scammed like that once for half a grand gbp worth of limited Roblox items I was trying to sell lol. They could be bots, I tried dm'ing a bot and they replied with some generic answer but they replied which acted as proof of legitimacy for me. There were a bunch of active users and they even had active activities like listening to music. The discord had 10k members and it fooled me. It could be bots. I wouldn't trust it, go to mesorx for their real contact info.
