I’ve been lurking here for a while but finally decided to post, my mandible is recessed as shit so I got herbst appliance installed like 2 weeks ago, but I don’t think it will make much of a difference, and I read somewhere that it can recess your maxilla, so I want to start thumbpulling to see if I can get anything out of it. Problem is, I have this metal thing (part of the appliance, not mse) on my palate, so maybe i wouldn’t be able to gain anything from thumbpulling, because this thing would be holding it. What do you guys think? If I should do it, should I pull before and after the metal thing? Im almost 17 btw
