I’ve been going to the gym for a little under a year, i started of with notably skinny legs however now they are pretty large and i can shift some good weight with them. This may seem like a success, however I have run into some issues.
1) I’m pretty tall, however I now look relatively stubby. I no longer have the ability to flex height in pictures, most people associate muscular legs with short people
2) My dick looks proportionately smaller, and this will only develop as a problem as my legs progress. I’ve not even got a small dick, but it looks small as fuck now; I thought this was a joke people made up to skip legs, experiencing it for myself is certainly disappointing
3) I can’t fit into anything nice, everything has to be baggy now. Trying on suit pants, or jeans I used to be able to wear has made me realise this, I’ve never trained glutes directly however somehow my ass has expanded and everything reasonably slim looks like leggings on me.
Heavily considering quitting legs or at least giving them a few weeks to atrophy so I can just maintain a smaller but still proportionate size for the rest of my lifting career. Obviously I don’t want tiny legs bc it’ll make my upper body look weird, but I think training legs is propaganda and doesn’t get you anywhere useful.
