With Retin-A brand name tretinoin, you ideally would like to build up in frequency to allow your skin to adapt to this topical. Something as simple as starting with using it twice per week and overtime you ideally will build to using it every night. Do be sure to wear SPF in the mornings. If your skin is really sensitive you can either try the gel version or adapalene, or the sandwiching method. Good luck.
