I don't know about any mental benefits but I'm prone to lower back problems due to a stupid injury years ago and it works wonders on that. Very anti-inflammatory.

As required, just when my back flares up.

There's a homeless guy lives on my corner and he once complained about swelling in the head and face after he got beaten up. So I bought him a bottle of the good stuff (it's not cheap, which is a bummer) and he said it totally did wonders for him. There are some docs recommending it for arthritis now because it often does a much better job than prescription remedies.
