No study proves that destination, is somehow the equivalent of attraction. You should probably read studies on how learning and motive functionally work under operant conditioning.

good theory and your mostly right and this a a really good argument but attractiveness is subjective and influenced by a lot of thing you can dismiss this as them relating it to status which is attractive but mere exposure effect applies in a lot other thing studies showed shorter people prefer bigger chins and smaller foreheads because that how they see the world vice verse and this is a well know phenomenon and you can just reject it without any decent base or logical argument
