only 20 years after graduation. I make 3k gross working as a bartender which is the same as college graduates make their first years. If you count the 5 years i'll be making money while they'll be losing it i doubt they'll have surpassed me in total money made before 40.

Even mid career pay is around 4k for the college degrees here which is a fucking joke tbh.

But no I went uni and now don't have the money for surgeries and don't want to move in with my parents after uni

I'm about to finish 2nd year of uni. Maybe will move in for a year after uni but probs not longer than that. It depends on if I can get a job related to what I want that enables me to live with them.
I'm not doing some shit wageslaving job. The only way I would do that is if I wageslaved for half the year living with my parents and then spent the money I'd earned travelling

If I needed to wageslave for surgeries, living with my parents would make it only 1 year of wageslaving before I could afford everything

After that it depends on what job prospects look like (given chosen major) in your nearest major city.
