Is using melatonin everyday bad

I take it most days (3mg) especially on school nights to make sure I get 9 hours just wondering if I can sustain this without causing problems, ive been doing this for over 6 months ands when I try sleep without it its hard and I get stressed I wont get enough sleep but I know this is only my brain because on non school nights I dont get stressed about sleep, I sleep a little later but get enough hours. Is it ok to sustain this habit for at least the next 8 months till I finish school

3mg is nothing your fine bro
 
youll grow dependent and itll be hard for you to sleep without it. im not sure if thats medically correct but its what happened to my mom and now its super hard for her to go to sleep. but at 3mg you'll be alright lol. look into sleep tablets with other things. i cant name the things you should be looking for from the top of my head but there's plenty of info on here.

I will grow dependsant even if I only continue for the next 8 months?

its currently 2 am and i need to go to school at 7am.....

i use melatonin often, ive read it decreases testosterone, but your body will become dependent on it, but you should be fine after you get off of it for a while
