If you say someone could have avoided harm by not going to certain venues which are risky, you’re supposedly victim blaming them, even if you say it’s only partially their fault. Is this true though? And if it is true that it’s victim blaming, does that make victim blaming true or false?

Victim blaming is a scam. Victims almost always have some responsibility. But that does not excuse the perpetrator in any way

I’m saying people should point out that going to dangerous places is putting yourself in harms way and that if harm comes your way that you were responsible to a degree for going there.
