Is wageslaving even worth it if I‘m spending almost 3 hours in total for the way and back, get a mediocre pay and always have to wake up early?

This shit coupled with my subhuman recession that is causing sleep apnea and breathing issues, is very draining. I‘m doubting if it‘s even worth it right now. But my mother insists and tells me I have to work hard a few years and then I‘ll get to have a nice job and a car. And with that „I‘ll get a nice girlfriend“. JFl why should I looks- and mentalmin myself just so I can become a betabux for a girl with a high body count.

I already tried to explain it to my mother that I‘ll get a new one after I get my sleep apnea diagnosed and possible bimax in the future.
But she doesn‘t want to hear me out, because I already „spent so much time working here“ and that it would be wasted time.

Idk if it‘s worth it for this job. If I have to spend a large amount of time for travel, and barely have any chances to meet friends or girls because I work on saturdays.

If you're high IQ you can do tutoring, it pays really well, but I hated teaching people who weren't as interested as me in that subject so I just quit.

Is it even worth it in the long-term sense?

Long term definitely not, it's more of a student part time job than anything else.
If you want to find a lasting career in today's world you'll most probably need a degree, unless you're really good at selling yourself and a good marketer, then you can try starting a business, but even that requires lots of skills and the risk of failure is very high (not even taking into account the capital required to start a business)

Bro have you seen the requirements. If you‘re not a diversity hire or a have a slit between your legs, then good luck finding a professional office job in a big city. I‘d tought about doing something in trades tough. But for now I have to fix my subhuman recession and breathing issues so I can rest properly again

Nah brah that's mostly bullshit if your major is actually in demand. Most people complaining about lack of jobs are fags who studied over-saturated majors like Business or Psychology.
I mean I'm majoring in CS and apart from the strenuous Leetcode training, getting a job is pretty easy. Engineers are always in demand, you basically get hired as soon as you graduate.
Trades are cool, but just make sure you choose a path that you kinda enjoy and that pays good, I can't imagine working my whole life in something that doesn't interest me and that pays like shit.

What's the deal with Americans and commuting for hours just to get to work, in my country this is unheard-of, I can get in 15 minutes at max everywhere in my city just with public transport, if a job would take more than an hour to get there, it makes more sense to simply move to that city, and find a house/apartment there, close to the workplace.

Yeah you‘re right. I‘ll probably try as a electrician. I already helped a my friend‘s dad out in the last summer vacation, so I atleast have a tad bit of experience.

Nah man not worth it. I don‘t even live in america. I have 1.5 hours with public transport to my job. And I get home late everyday. I‘ll just find something that’s not more than 30 minutes away.

Why not rent a place near your job?

I‘m just 17 and the renting prices, even for a shithole apartment in a city are raising day by day. If you account for immigration, inflation and not enough living-infrastructure being built, then it makes sense to still live with the parents.
Also so I can save up money faster for potential surgeries in the future.

Then if you still live with your parents it makes more sense to get a job closer to home, even if it pays less.

That‘s what I‘m telling my parents all the time. But my mom still wants me to work there, because otherwise all the time I already put in this job would‘ve been „wasted“ according to her.

Don't listen to that old woman. Most mothers unintentionally screw their child's life over.

lol at the end of the day its your life. your mom already lived hers. consider her advice as she prob thinks you'll just bum around if you quit your current job (you most probably will). so have a plan for yourself, and go for it.

I almost have no free time due to my job. How can I even train my social skills or make new friends when 80% of my life consists in working and traveling to work.

wageslaving is never worth it. it is something npcs do. soyciety has already cme up with the solution to wage slavery, which is by creating a genre of work called gigger. this makes you an independent contractor, basically "self employed" where you can be your own boss as it were.

Devise a plan, friend
Find a path. My advice for a dead end 9-5 is, seek to make it so you suffer the least on your daily slavery (3h is way too much bro, make it 1h max) once you do so, begin to think about your life and live in the real world for a second. What can you do in your life for yourself past that 9-5? Whats the next step going forward? Which skills or jobs do you devise on partaking in next, how will it free your time up? You must achieve complete self mastery, this path is only your own. You are only in the company of God on your personal path, absolutely fucking no one else is. You might be lonely or alone but that is different. Our paths we all walk alone, with God. Your destiny is only to yourself, always remember that. May Allah help you

Based. I will quit soon tough.
Might work a few months and cash in some more so I can save up some more for softmaxxing stuff and surgery until I get the date for my bimax surgery.

I have man. I‘m finding back to god, but I‘ll stay a non-deminotial christian and let the early versions of the Bible help me.
Threads from users like @dreamcake1mo inspired me to maybe take a different approach at struggle and impossible challenges.
And how to swim trough the endless streams of hedonistic nihilism nowadays.

Life is too short to do that, if you don’t study towards a job you don’t hate then life isn’t worth living
