Is waiting to approach women a good strategy?

Title. I always hear niggas here saying they have checked out of dating until they get their surgeries, get to certain weight or whatever. Like some imaginary milestone in their life that may or may not arrive do something significant in their life like join college, ask our a girl, go on a date tbh. Apparently it's to protect their mental well-being and health. I can't relate to all this bwcause I did all of that while being a fat idiot and had nothing to offer to a woman.

It's a coping strategy to check out of dating without admitting total defeat, most never get their surgeries anyways and just "delay" forever

I wish I could approach girls but I just don’t get the opportunity to. Every time I see a girl staring she’s with her parents, friends, she’s in a moving car, or something. There’s not that many hot girls walking around for me to approach, I see that less than once a month, young women don’t do things alone and when they do they have their guard up.

For instance I was at a concert last weekend. And I didn’t catch any girls looking or talk to anyone the entire time. And then as I was leaving this tall blonde Nordic looking Stacy was staring straight at me. But she was with a group of people and I had a long drive home ahead of me so what could I have done. I’m working on plans to both looksmax and put myself out there but I’m seriously worried about how difficult it is to meet girls outside of school, work, or the apps.

I didn't get what you meant.

Some people prefer to set aside certain years purely to focus on ascension, so therefore they check out of dating for two years.
During that time, they research things like basic softmaxes, compounds, roid stacks, fillers, botox, sourcing, and so on. A few months later, they start implementing them while also beginning to save up for hardmaxxes.
A year or so passes, and they’re done surgeries like rhinoplasty, bimax, implants, etc. Takes a while to recover until you feel ready.

So just imagine if you were in a relationship during this crucial period. It could derail your plans, waste both time and money, and you end up thinking "I already have a girlfriend anyway so why do this?"
On top of that, you likely wouldn’t end up with their looksmatch or someone above it at that stage anyway. thats how it feels to me
