It definetly is important. If you mean region, then yes its important. On average people that are more african tend to have more unideal ratios. Same with people that are indian, etc. If you mean where in the sense of richer regions or smth, its definetly also important. Poorer households obv cant have a balanced and healthy diet, often resulting in poor conditions not only in the field of diet
