i have mediterranean skin tone. ive heard of things like kojic acid and glutathione but also heard a lot of people saying its cope. are there actually working products that can lighten up the skin a lil bit? since im not a curry I don't need extreme changes only little bit.

You have mediterranean skin tone, but are you mediterranean?

I don't see why it's needed if you're just southern European

I feel like being more white would still be more optimal. my skin tone isn't bad I guess but its also not perfect.

I have the same skin tone, humidity is literal garbage with this, don't take products, blasting cold ac or cold wind on your face lightens it up extremely well, just mix moisturizer in case you descend from skin dehydration

Depends on two questions, one being what is your real skin tone is and do you want to phenotypically become more White or do you just want more pale skin. Because I'll get straight to the point, it is impossible to genuinely lighten your skin. The most you can do is fade an existing tan which even then is much more of a hassle than one would think. Is your face darker than the rest of your body? Do you have visible tan lines on your arms? You should theoretically be able to fade these. Lightening your real skin tone is cope, there is nothing that works.

If you want features that are more phenotypically White then you have many options though it depends on what your face currently looks like.
