I respect your opinion.

It's harder to get swept up into fantasy as a grizzled old man. I was annoyed because I found the gameplay to be lackluster. I loved RDR1, for comparison. Before my experience during the pandemic playing a bunch of the most popular recent AAA games, I would have said story > gameplay, but I don't think that anymore. I enjoyed Bloodborne way more than anything else even though it barely has a story (no, you fucking nerd, I don't give a fuck about some shit pieced together from item descriptions).

It's a solid game in terms of atmosphere, story, and the character development system, but I do wish the combat was more advanced.
